Ordering & Delivery
These are the Terms and Conditions which apply to all purchases from Little Treasures (UK) Limited website. These vary occasionally so please check them before you make a new purchase.
Description of Products
Sizes, weights, descriptions and colours are given as a guide only. A name given to a product is not always representative of the colour.
Please note that wood is a natural product and may therefore contain minor imperfections and characteristics such as knots, colour variation, etc - these are normal and are not classed as manufacturing faults.
The representation of colour is approximate due to the limitations of photographic and calibration of different output devices. If you are at all unsure, then please contact us for more details at email@example.com before ordering.
Whilst we take all reasonable care to ensure that product details, descriptions and prices appearing on this website are correct we will not be held responsible or liable for any errors or omissions.
All prices are in Pound Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. Goods supplied are not for resale.
Delivery Costs to Mainland UK*
Orders of £50.00 or above – FREE DELIVERY on a 2-5 working day service.
Orders of £49.99 or below - £6.99 on a 1-2 day service (Courier, or Royal Mail for smaller items)
Orders of £49.99 or below - £4.99 on a 2-5 day service (Courier, or Royal Mail for smaller items)
Couriers normally deliver from Monday to Friday. Royal Mail may also deliver on a Saturday.
Where stock is available, we aim to despatch all orders received by 12 noon (Monday to Friday) within 1 working day, this does not include weekends.
Where products are on a pre-order basis (this means they are not currently in stock but already on order with our supplier) your order will be despatched as soon as the stock arrives. For orders which are to be delivered direct from the supplier, please see the separate section below for full details.
*Orders can only be delivered to mainland UK addresses. This excludes Highlands, Islands, Ireland, European, BFPO & other worldwide addresses. If you have any questions relating to mainland UK deliveries, or would like a quote for delivering to an excluded location, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Deliveries Direct from Supplier
Some orders are delivered directly from the Supplier who use a range of different delivery companies. The product description will advise if it is a direct delivery & estimated delivery times for these products will also be stated, however please note that these are not guaranteed & do not form part of a Contract.
Products delivered direct from the supplier are often big and heavy to lift so please advise us at email@example.com if there is anything that may hinder the delivery. This can include, but is not restricted to, lots of steps, no parking and lift access.
BabyStyle Furniture - Any furniture from BabyStyle is normally delivered on a pallet. A suitable delivery date will be agreed with you as the pallet will be left kerbside and is your responsibility to have people available to move the heavy flat packed furniture indoors.
Orders for these products can only be delivered to mainland UK addresses, excluding Highlands, Islands, Ireland, European &worldwide addresses. If you have any questions relating to direct deliveries please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Little Treasures (UK) Limited provide estimated lead times for products which are not available for immediate despatch. These are approximate and can be affected by delays from our suppliers. Where possible, any delay will be advised to customers affected, but cannot be guaranteed in all cases.
Whilst we make every effort to have your order ready for despatch by the estimated date given, we will not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full, due to circumstances beyond our control.
Placing an Order
Making a purchase is very easy. Simply browse our online store, click on the item you wish to buy and add it to your shopping basket. Repeat the process until you have all the products you want in your shopping basket, thenclick on ‘Proceed to Checkout’. Here you will be asked to enter some personal details needed for the order.
Next choose how you would like to pay & enter the details as requested. We accept payments via most major debit cards, credit cards and Paypal.
After successfully placing an order, you will receive an email confirming your order has been received and is being processed.
We use Braintree, a division of the industry leading internet payment company Paypal, to take payment. All sensitive data is stored in the Braintree Vault, a secure system which helps us maintain our PCI Compliance. We will never see your card details or Paypal details as they are passed in a secure, encrypted way directly to Braintree for processing.
As we are not responsible for the operation of the secure link used for payment, we will not, unless we are negligent, be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any information you provide via a secure link.
Gift vouchers cannot be bought or redeemed through our website. These are only available &valid in-store.
Orders placed with Little Treasures (UK) Limited and the order confirmation email sent as a result of an order with us, do not form an acceptance of that order, just confirmation that the order has been received. A contract is formed upon delivery of your order. Little Treasures (UK) Limited reserves the right to decline to process your order at any point up until then.
If for any reason we do not process your order, we will email you to advise of the change. These reasons include, but are not limited to, where goods have been priced below that which we intended, the price of the product has increased between the time of the order and our acceptance of it, or if a supplementary delivery charge applies. If we are unable to supply a particular item, we will not be liable to you in any way however we will refund you in full.
Receiving Your Order
All deliveries require a signature upon receipt.
If the delivery company cannot get an answer at the address specified on the order, a calling card will be left with details of where to collect the item(s) from. This is normally your nearest depot, or Post Office Customer Service Point where applicable.
If the delivery address you have given is either incorrect, the address refuses to accept delivery, or if you do not respond to the calling card, your order will be returned to Little Treasures (UK) Limited.
If we do not hear from you within 30 days we will cancel the order and refund to you the purchase price paid and postage (if applicable) minus the cost of returning the order to Little Treasures (UK) Limited. Please note that courier returns charges are considerably more than their standard delivery charges & for large, heavy items can be very expensive.
If you provide us with an incorrect delivery address and your goods are signed for by another person, Little Treasures (UK) Limited cannot and will not be held responsible for any loss you incur as a result.
If you wish us to attempt to redeliver an order, please notify us via email at email@example.com
If your order qualified for free delivery initially, you will be required to pay a redelivery fee as any subsequent delivery attempts are not be free of charge. You will be advised of the cost & required to pay in full before the goods are despatched again. If you subsequently cancel the order after it has been despatched a second or subsequent time, the redelivery charge will not be refunded(this does not affect your Statutory Rights).
Where postage was paid on your order initially & you wish for the order to be redelivered, you will be liable for paying the original postage amount again before it is despatched. You will be advised of the cost & required to pay in full before the goods are despatched again. If you subsequently cancel the order after it has been despatched for a second or subsequent time, only the original delivery charge will be refunded (this does not affect your Statutory Rights).
In a bid to help reduce waste in our environment, we often recycle packaging materials. This means that to help protect your order during shipping, it may arrive in outer packaging that is being reused and/or from a different brand. Please open the outer packaging to check the contents are exactly what you ordered before contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. This will not affect your Statutory Rights.
If there is any visible damage to the packaging when your item(s) is delivered please make a note of it next to your signature when signing for the goods.
If any of the items inside the outer packaging are damaged, please email email@example.com 48 hours of receipt with the details so that we can resolve the issue for you as soon as possible.
Unless stated, all furniture is supplied flat packed. The furniture we supply is well packaged however occasionally parts can be damaged during transit. Therefore, please ensure you check all the pieces, panels & fixings and notify us within 7 days from receipt of any problems. If there is a part missing or panel damaged, we will arrange for the necessary items to be replaced, rather than replace the whole piece of furniture. This does not affect your statutory rights.
